Edelweiss European Flower Necklace

I remember hearing the song “Edelweiss” gloriously sung by Captain Georg Ludwig von Trapp in the 1959 movie The Sound of Music. I used to play that movie over and over again as a child. That and the Wizard of Oz. Two of my favorite old time movies. Hehe.  I was always curious as to what “Edelweiss” actually was so one day I asked my Mom. Of course she was ecstatic to tell me (she’s German and it’s European). She said it was a mountain flower that grew in the hills of the Alps. A beautiful white flower.

I remember seeing this amazing necklace around my mothers neck one day and asked her what was inside it. It was unlike anything I had seen before. Pretty much looked like a white fluff ball but for some reason I was intrigued. Come to find out, it was a real Edelweiss flower dried and made into a necklace. From that day forward I have wanted one of these necklaces so bad. Guess what! That day has finally come. Check it out and let me know what you think.
